Pending Results Reports
If you haven't already done so, please read the Reports Overview. The Overview includes all the standard report options and how to use them. Those instructions and terms will not be repeated here.
Summary
The purpose of this report is to display a list of all visits whose status is marked Pending in the visit record, so that you can either mark them as Completed, or follow up on outstanding services, such as lab and radiology, for which you are waiting. At your election, the report can include a list of all the medical activities included in the visits (with the status displayed in the report), or only those medical activities whose result code User-definable code that indicates the status of a particular medical activity. For example, a result code of 1 may indicate the first dose of a multi-dose immunzation, or it may indicate a PPD was placed but not yet read. remains ? which is the the software default result code to indicate a service was requested, but results have not yet been recorded in the software.

The visit Pending status has no inherent meaning in the software: you can determine how you want to use it. The most common use is to keep the status Pending until all services have been completed -- which could include receiving transcription from Medical Records, or lab results, etc. If all visits are marked Completed, this report will not produce the desired results. |
How to run this report:

Enter the As Of date or click the calendar icon
and select a date. (The program uses the selected date to calculate the days delinquent in Step 2).

Enter the Number of Days Delinquent, From __ Thru __.

Click the radio button to indicate whether you want the report to include:

None of the individual medical activities in each visit

All of the medical activities in each visit, or
-
Just the Pending medical activities in each visit.

Select any of the standard report options, if needed (Company, ASCII file, Graph, etc.).

Click Print to run the report.
